FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

Local Authorities are required to adopt the New Model Code before 1st January 2009 which has been published by the Information Commissioners' Office.

The document also requires each Local Authority to issue a Publication Scheme setting out the ways in which information may be accessed by the public and any relevant costs.

Lea and Cottam Parish Council adopted the Model and issued its Publication Scheme on the 24 November 2008.
