Lea and Cottam Parish Council formerly Lea Parish Council was established in 1894 and is located within the City of Preston Lancashire.
The Parish has extended considerably over recent years with over 2200 residential properties and approx 4500 people.
The Parish Council have moved with the times and now undertake a significant amount of low level maintenance provided by the local lengthsman to the open space areas in the Parish.
The Parish Council have worked in partnership with other higher tier Local Authorities in undertaking a number of small scale projects for the benefit of local residents and over the last 2 years have improved the Western Approach to the Parish by planting 20000 spring bulbs which have added to the attractiveness of the area during Springtime.
